Architectural Project Manager
JM2 is seeking an architectural project manager with an interest in design and restoration with a strong willingness to learn more.
Job Description:
- Perform all phases of architectural design
- Research and work on all types of projects
- Engage in Suffolk, Nassau and NYC zoning and building code analysis
- Develop architectural designs into accurate models and drawings, and carry them through design and contract documentation.
- Learn proper architectural, BIM and PS&S QA/QC protocols
- Coordinate with engineers and consultants to integrate different design aspects into unified solutions
- Assist with Marketing tools and company development
- Expediting to all Town, Village, County or State Offices having jurisdiction
- Confer with clients to determine project requirements and maintain client satisfaction through regular communication.
- Visualize the project by 3D rendering presentation
- Draft scaled construction documents in Autodesk Revit
- Support clients in obtaining bids and awarding construction contracts
- Conduct on-site observation of work to monitor compliance with contract documents.
- Strategize and develop BIM models, and related design documentation and coordination
- Develop sketches, 3D renderings and animations using various software applications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience on large and small scale, commercial, residential & restoration projects.
- Must be on a path for obtaining Architectural Licensure
- Proficiency using Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite.
- MS Office Suite applications (e.g. WORD, Excel, PowerPoint); plus other graphic and rendering software (e.g. Photoshop) required
- Candidates must have strong written and oral communications skills, and ability to work well in collaborative team environment and be eager to learn and grow.
- Self-starter with ambitious attitude is key, positive attitude
- Problem Solving, able to tackle both large scale/conceptual level and detail/task level problems, experience resolving complex design and technical issues
- Adaptability, comfortable to jump from project to project and stay abreast of all changes
- Organized and detail oriented
- Ability to conceptualize and design practical solutions
- Comfortable in team environment, sharing roles and responsibilities
Salary will be determined by skills and previous work experience in an architectural office.

Construction Project Supervisor
JM2 is seeking a full time site supervisor who is detail oriented, organized, has the ability to instruct people, communicate effectively, resolve issues, and has a strong willingness to learn more.
Job Description:
- General day to day construction operations
- Monitors the activities of contractors and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with project quality, safety, and security requirements
- Review work as per approved plans
- Ensure construction trades are trained on and aware of specifications and work procedures
- Maintains effective schedule and cost control
- Attends weekly site meetings and prepare meeting agendas with Project Manager
- Coordinates required work activity to ensure that design drawings, tools, equipment, and materials are available when needed
- Correspondence with JM2 and with Clients
- Ensure personnel comply with established safety policies and procedures, and that they practice safe work habits
- Assist with daily driver schedules
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Construction related subject or qualified experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience
- Knowledge of building codes
- OSHA 10 required
- Experience using MS Office Suite applications (e.g. WORD, Excel, PowerPoint)
