John L. Mahler, AIA
John is Principal Architect at JM2 Architecture, DPC, with over 30 years of experience. Since starting his career in 1987, he has worked as a Project Architect at JTMA, Senior Architect at Rand Engineering and Architecture, and as an independent practitioner. Joining JM2 in 2012, he specializes in historical restoration, leak and façade investigations, and repair solutions, known for his technical precision and creative problem-solving. He is a licensed New York architect, a member of AISC and AIA, and has been recognized as an expert in multiple architectural areas.
His achievements include the BOCES Award for Design Excellence and a published Habitat Magazine article on balcony restoration. Guided by professionalism and integrity, John aims for effective, high-quality outcomes in every project. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, playing piano, and creating art through oil painting and sculpture. His guiding philosophy: “Facts are stubborn things.”

Tyler A. Fox, AIA, NCARB
Tyler is a Licensed Architect and Junior Partner at JM2 Architecture, DPC, contributing to a wide range of commercial, residential, industrial, and hospitality projects. Since starting his career in 2014 after graduating Summa Cum Laude from Alfred State College, he has advanced from Project Manager to Junior Partner. His early roles as an AutoCAD Technician at Rhinebeck Architecture & Planning and hands-on construction work with Moore Construction give him a strong understanding of both design and building.
Tyler became a New York State Licensed Architect in 2022, earned NCARB certification in 2025, and was named to Long Island Business News’ “40 Under 40” in 2023. Skilled in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, digital rendering, and project management, he approaches every project with integrity, collaboration, and creative focus. Outside the office, he performs as a bass guitarist on Long Island and enjoys traveling for inspiration. His motto, “Less is more,” guides his approach to work and life.

Dawn Golder
As Business Manager at JM2 Architecture DPC, Dawn is responsible for guiding the operational and financial heartbeat of a respected architectural firm with over two decades of excellence in innovative design. Her role spans vendor management, revenue oversight, office administration, and client relations—all with the goal of ensuring a seamless, productive environment for the team and clients alike.
With a background in budgeting, negotiation, customer service, and strategic problem-solving, Dawn takes pride in building systems that support both creativity and efficiency. She believes that behind every successful design project is a well-run business foundation—and is passionate about making that foundation as strong and adaptable as possible.
What drives Dawn most is collaboration, and is fortunate to work with a dedicated, visionary team that’s committed to transforming spaces and elevating the way people live and work. She's always open to new ideas, challenges, and connections that help us grow as professionals and as people.

Bryan Kuefner, AIA
Bryan is an Architect at JM2 Architecture, D.P.C., where he has contributed to diverse projects since 2019. His interest in architecture began in high school and led him to the Wentworth Institute of Technology, where he completed seven years of study. After graduating in 2008, he worked in retail and store planning before returning home to spend five years with Mancini Mui. He became a licensed architect in January 2024, bringing strong technical skills, client-focused service, and extensive Revit experience to the firm.
Guided by values of honesty, hard work, and responsibility, Bryan applies a steady, practical approach to his projects. Outside the office, he enjoys video games, sports, softball, golf, reading, and DIY projects. His motto, “It could be worse,” reflects his resilience and perspective on tackling challenges.
